Our Story

Drawing inspiration from the success of his steakhouse’s bar menu, award-winning chef Mike Mariola founded The Rail Burger in 2011 as a full-service burger restaurant and bar suitable for any occasion.

Over time, Mike's vision for the concept shifted and led to the reimagination of a new brand - The Rail Craft Kitchen. The Rail Craft Kitchen still retains all of the culinary elements that made The Rail Burger so successful; killer burgers, Ohio craft beer, and friendly service, but with ​an expanded array of entrees, flatbreads, and fresh artisan salads.
